Katie Cobb has a gift for helping businesspeople, political leaders, celebrities and ordinary people tell their
stories in unique and compelling ways.  Her first professional opportunity was in the administration of Arizona
Governor Fife Symington, who selected her as his deputy press secretary.  Katie’s work with local and national
media eventually led her to the television news business when Roger Ailes selected her to work with Chris
Matthews at NBC cable network America’s Talking, later re-launched as MSNBC.  She went on to travel the
country and world covering a wide range of news and feature stories for NBC, MSNBC and ABC News.

In 1997, Cobb returned to the world of politics, working as the media director for longtime political
consultant Joseph R. Cerrell.  She worked on numerous public relations campaigns and strategic consulting
engagements with Cerrell and his team, building a long roster of contacts in both the public and private sector.

A year later, Cobb was again tapped by Roger Ailes, this time to help launch Fox News Channel.  For the
next eight years, she produced a steady stream of breaking news stories and political coverage from the
network’s Los Angeles bureau.  She also managed to find time to become a wife, mother and managing partner
of Actual Media.

Today, Katie Cobb continues to pursue her passion for politics and media, consulting for clients in both
arenas and addressing their needs with her wealth of experience.  An Arizona native, Katie grew up in Phoenix
and has studied overseas.  She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Loyola Marymount
University.
